The Beautiful Project

Original illustrations, cheeky sentiments and a bit of whimsy—these paper works are designed with love.

The Beautiful Project was established in 2005 by graphic artist, illustrator and web designer, Jeannette Ordas. Her work is inspired by her love of all things vintage and cute, from 1950’s cookbooks to textiles and typography.

Aja Billas Ceramics

Aja’s slip cast stoneware is elegant, with clean lines, and a smooth finish.

Anita Sikma Jewellery

Anita Sikma has been creating and designing jewellery for 5 years. Designing jewellery allows her to translate a metropolis form and distort its proportion by recreating its scale. From beginning to completion, each design is handcrafted with utmost sensitivity. Primarily her designs are constructed in wax and then cast into sterling silver. All pieces are handled individually, no two are alike.

Anita Sikma was born and raised in Regina, Saskatchewan. In her early twenties she moved away to pursue her artistic endeavors in a larger format. In 2004 Anita continued forward with her passions and received her diploma in Jewellery Art & Design from the Vancouver Community College. Here she developed a comprehensive knowledge of metal work and fabrication.
